The 7 features their new cover of Tears for Fears anthemic Shout, as well as their version of Kate Bushs iconic Running Up That Hill, a rare opportunity to get this on vinyl again.In this unprecedented collaboration, the band have worked with a visual artist to author an entirely new colour, aptly named PLACEBO. PLACEBO paint is inspired by Semples lifelong love of Placebo. Changing colour in front of your eyes in different lights, PLACEBO morphs from a deep purple hue, through black, into a shimmering blue.Semple then created an original acrylic and charcoal on canvas painting titled SHOUT using this colour, which formed the cover artwork image for the record sleeve and bespoke record sleeve packaging. Powerful and visceral, an expression of the emotive anthem, the artwork also enacts a physical concept that enables you to interact with the packaging to extend the shout, literally.

Radio Free Europe (Original Hib-Tone Single) 7 Inch Vinyl by R.E.M.

R.E.M.’s first and breakthrough single “Radio Free Europe” was initially released by a small Atlantabased record label, HibTone Records. Produced by Mitch Easter, the original recording of the single had different mixes by Easter and by labelowner Johnny Hibbert. Although the band preferred Easter’s mix, Hibbert chose his version for the 1981 limited pressing 45RPM single, which is now a coveted collector’s item, packaged in a black and white sleeve featuring original photography by Michael Stipe.“Radio Free Europe” was later rerecorded for the band’s first album release on major record label I.R.S. Records and went on to land the band their chart debut, peaking at number 78 in the Billboard Pop Chart. That album, Murmur, went on to reach number 36 in the album charts, and set the band steadfastly on the path to college radio domination and critical acclaim. The band’s 1988 compilation album, Eponymous, included what was called the Original HibTone single, but what was in fact Easter’s original mix, not Hibbert’s.This limited edition 7” pressing represents the firstever rerelease of the original HibTone recording of “Radio Free Europe,” and comes housed in a replica sleeve.
