Together all the way CD + Vinyl – The Levellers
Vinyl records London are pleased to introduce this Red Vinyl Limited Vinyl Records Red Vinyl by The Levellers. Levellers have announced new acoustic album Together All The Way the follow up to their 2018 Top 20 album We The Collective. The Album will be available on Limited edition Red Vinyl and CD. The last ‘Collective’ album was recorded at Abbey Road with the legendary John Leckie 5 years ago and resulted in their highest chart position in twenty years. Levellers always planned to do more but how do you top that Eventually they came to the conclusion to not try to top it but to go another way. They decided to strip everything right back and go for a more traditional, folk approach. They reconvened the collective this time with Sean Lakeman producing and Al Scott mixing at their own Metway Studios in Brighton. Everything was recorded live, with the musicians playing through the songs until they had versions they were happy with. Of the album and recording, the Levellers say “It was truly a fun record to make, under the rigorous guidance of Sean. Sean’s a musician himself, always bringing ideas and get out of jail free suggestions when we got stuck. It’s a stripped back, raw iteration of the collective with deep folk leanings. As energetic as the first one but definitely different” Levellers were joined again by Hannah and Ollie from the Moulettes on cello, vocals and percussion plus the mighty Dan Donnelly on his first official Levellers recording.First song Down by the River ‘O’ The song was written by friend and collaborator Rev Hammer about the Great Flood of 1968 in Buntingford.

Road to the Sun Boxset
On his latest album, Road To The Sun, Pat Metheny surprises us once again with his seemingly endless ability to harvest new vistas while retaining the instantly recognizable Metheny sound. The album was a huge success and was No. 1 on the US Billboard Classic Charts, as well as the UK Classic Charts, and also reached the Top 10 on the German Media Control Charts. With two major new works, performed by five of the worlds leading guitarists, Metheny charts a new way of obliterating boundaries between genres while simultaneously unveiling new facets of an already expansive personal language.Grammywinner Jason Vieaux, described by NPR as perhaps the most precise and soulful classical guitarist of his generation was tapped by Metheny to perform his fourmovement solo guitar suite Four Paths Of Light. The centerpiece of this landmark recording is Road To The Sun, a sixmovement piece for fellow Grammyaward winning Los Angeles Guitar Quartet Metheny describes them as one of the best bands in the world. In the end, Road To The Sun is nothing if not another truly great Pat Metheny record. It will rank alongside Secret Story, Bright Size Life, 8081,One Quiet Night, Still Life talking, Song X, and all the rest as being yet another unexpected and almost willfully inscrutable plot twist, inevitable to a genre with only one common element Metheny himself.FeaturesLimited Edition Box Set with Lenticular ArtworkScores for Road To The Sun amp Four Paths Of LightOriginal gatefold LPs of Road To The Sun 1LP amp Four Paths Of Light 1LPSingle Disc CDPrint of the album art signed by Pat Metheny2 BooksLiftoff lid box with Lenticular Artwork
