Liebes Kind starts where traditional thrillers end with redemption, but the true extent of this nightmare is revealed with the arrival of Lenas parents at the hospital the same night.The series is accompanied by a captivating score by the critically acclaimed duo Gustavo Santaolalla and Juan Luqui. The two released their Original Soundtrack this September with the help of Robert Messinger and Sergio Chiappetta. The globally renowned multi instrumentalist, composer, and producer Santaolalla is also known for his Academy Awardwinning scores for Babel and Brokeback Mountain, as well as the legacy score of The Last Of Us.Despite all the dark elements of the series, the two composers were able to also capture the fragility of the characters. It is impossible to pinpoint when a new album will become a classic. And while sometimes there are signals, often such a designation comes as a complete surprise. When Neil Youngs 1973 live album release TIME FADES AWAY arrived, it was obviously a leftfield surprise. It was recorded with the Stray Gators, and featured previously unreleased songs. At a time when the Youngs popularity was surging following his highly successful studio album HARVEST, the new live album raised questions marks and even Young responded at the time, TIME FADES AWAY was the worst record I ever made, but as a door of what was happening to me it was a great record. In so many ways, this music is the perfect window on the unpredictable trajectory of one of rock & rolls true pioneers. TIME FADES AWAY 50 will be released on limited edition clear vinyl only this November 3, via Reprise Records. This definitive 9 song iteration of the album contains a bonus track of “Last Trip To Tulsa,” which originally appeared on Archives Vol.1 Box set but here now on vinyl only for the first time. The 50th anniversary release of TIME FADES AWAY is a true celebration of an era in time that marked music forever. In 1973 Young was writing songs that have lasted to this day, and taking bold changes with the way he presented them inperson. Its a trademark of his that still continues. And with the Stray Gators performing with him Jack Nitzsche keyboards Ben Keith pedal steel guitar Kenny Buttrey drums, to be replaced by Johnny Barbata and bassist Tim Drummond. David Crosby and Graham Nash also joined on harmony vocals and acoustic guitar. The real magic of this recording has always been how it was such an adventurous risk to take at a time when so much of the contemporary music then was driven by perfection. Recorded directly from the soundboard to 16track tape and mixed simultaneously to LP cutting, in some ways Young and the band were traveling new sonic roads. TIME FADES AWAY was recorded directly after the megasuccess of Youngs album HARVEST, and it feels like the blueprint of the twists and turns of a career where the blaster rockets are kicking.

Pin Ups 50th Anniversary Half-Speed Heavyweight Vinyl by David Bowie
October 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of David Bowie’ s classic collection of cover songs, PIN UPS, originally released 19th October 1973 a mere six months after the legendary ALADDIN SANE and three months after the infamous final Ziggy Stardust show at Hammersmith Odeon, where he put the Ziggy persona to rest along with The Spiders From Mars. On 20th October 2023, one day after its Golden Jubilee PIN UPS will be issued as a limited edition 50th anniversary halfspeed mastered LP. This new pressing of PIN UPS was cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronics from 192kHz restored masters of the original master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer. John Webber cut the halfspeed at AIR Studios. Recorded at Chacircteau d’ Heacuterouville in France, where Bowie would later return to record the masterpiece LOW, PIN UPS was a collection of cover songs paying tribute to bands and artists that had inspired him and that he had seen at clubs such as The Marquee in London in the mid to late 60s. Artists he covered for the album included The Yardbirds, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, The Who, Pretty Things, The Easybeats and more.
