In October 1973 Bob Marley and the Wailers gave an intimate performance at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. Whilst they performed and recorded twelve classic songs, from the sidelines producer Denny Cordell captured the event on camera.The footage lay unseen for decades and was long considered lost, until a freelance researcher, sent to archive all things Marley, found a few frames. Intrigued, for over 20 years the trail to track down more of the film led him through storage units and record company archives from New York and London to San Diego until, finally, enough of the precious fragments were assembled. Now, painstakingly restored and edited, the Capitol Session ’ 73 is ready for release and set to become arguably the finest audiovisual recording of Bob Marley and the Wailers in existence. Available on DVD, limited edition red and green coloured vinyl and black vinyl.

Radio Free Europe (Original Hib-Tone Single) 7 Inch Vinyl by R.E.M.
R.E.M.’ s first and breakthrough single “Radio Free Europe” was initially released by a small Atlantabased record label, HibTone Records. Produced by Mitch Easter, the original recording of the single had different mixes by Easter and by labelowner Johnny Hibbert. Although the band preferred Easter’ s mix, Hibbert chose his version for the 1981 limited pressing 45RPM single, which is now a coveted collector’ s item, packaged in a black and white sleeve featuring original photography by Michael Stipe.“Radio Free Europe” was later rerecorded for the band’ s first album release on major record label I.R.S. Records and went on to land the band their chart debut, peaking at number 78 in the Billboard Pop Chart. That album, Murmur, went on to reach number 36 in the album charts, and set the band steadfastly on the path to college radio domination and critical acclaim. The band’ s 1988 compilation album, Eponymous, included what was called the Original HibTone single, but what was in fact Easter’ s original mix, not Hibbert’ s.This limited edition 7” pressing represents the firstever rerelease of the original HibTone recording of “Radio Free Europe,” and comes housed in a replica sleeve.

L’ istruttoria E’ Chiusa Dimentichi internationally released as The Case Is Closed, Forget It is a 1971 Italian crime drama film directed by Damiano Damiani. It is based on the novel Tante Sbarre Many Bars, written by Leros Pitton and was awarded at the Tehran Film Festival. The film centres around the architect Vanzi, whom ends up in prison and ends up involved in a plot against an inconvenient witness to organised crime, passed off as a suicide, with the complicity of the security guards. Renowned composer Ennio Morricone created an obscure, yet globally beloved, score to the thriller. Tracks B2 and B3 “Disordini Titoli Versione Film” and “Ordini Versione Alternativa” were part of the original recordings but not used for the movie final cut.
