‘Houmlrse of the Doumlg’ will be reissued on vinyl for the first time since its original 500 copy limited edition run soldout in 2002 original copies emerge so infrequently that it has effectively become a money can’ t buy item for fans and collectors. In the early 2000s, The Eighties Matchbox BLine Disaster emerged with a blackhearted blast of frenetic psychobilly, punk and goth that felt like a closing time punchup between The Birthday Party, The Cr&s and The MakeUp. Their lunatic intensity was best captured within their first two albums, 2002’ s ‘Houmlrse of the Doumlg’ and 2004’ s ‘The Royal Society’, both of which remain adored as cult classics to this day by a fanbase still addicted by their visceral, riotous noise rock. One of the band’ s biggest fans is the film director Edgar Wright, who directed the music video for their song ‘Psychosis Safari’ as he was working on his own cult classic, ‘Shaun of the Dead’. The film even featured ‘Mister Mental’ from ‘The Royal Society’ on its soundtrack. Still a fan to this day, Wright has penned the accompanying liner notes that will feature in all physical versions of the reissue. He writes “The aural assault of ‘Celebrate Your Mother’, ‘Chicken’, ‘Giant Bones’, ‘Fishfingers’ and, frankly, the whole fucking album, represents the uniquely combustive togetherness of this band who in 2002 existed paradoxically both within and outside the music scene of the day… Behold an album too fast to live, but too young to ever die. The finest 25 minutes of freak energy one can handle.”

Shout / Running Up That Hill 7 Inch Vinyl by Placebo
Placebo have teamed up with British artist Stuart Semple to develop a unique colour and a very special limited edition packaged double ASide 7 vinyl record. The 7 features their new cover of Tears for Fears anthemic Shout, as well as their version of Kate Bushs iconic Running Up That Hill, a rare opportunity to get this on vinyl again. In this unprecedented collaboration, the band have worked with a visual artist to author an entirely new colour, aptly named PLACEBO. PLACEBO paint is inspired by Semples lifelong love of Placebo. Changing colour in front of your eyes in different lights, PLACEBO morphs from a deep purple hue, through black, into a shimmering blue.Semple then created an original acrylic and charcoal on canvas painting titled SHOUT using this colour, which formed the cover artwork image for the record sleeve and bespoke record sleeve packaging. Powerful and visceral, an expression of the emotive anthem, the artwork also enacts a physical concept that enables you to interact with the packaging to extend the shout, literally.

The Seventh Sun (Clear) LP by Bury Tomorrow
Limited Edition Clear vinyl 140g, 12” outersleeve black paper innerbag. If standalone singles Death Ever Colder and Life Paradise Denied, released little over a month apart earlier this year, gave a first glimpse at what lay instore, then The Seventh Sun amounts to the glorious arrival at a destination in this new era. Not Bury Tomorrow’ s final destination, either, you must understand – but one that both perfectly encapsulates their revivified present while offering further tantalising hints at an unwritten future. This is no beast tamed, but rather one with its teeth and claws sharpened, intent on killing with targeted precision rather than with overwhelming bludgeoning. Refocused yet no more restrained, The Seventh Sun’ s expanded sonic palette platforms skyhigh melodies, layered with textured atmosphere, cloaking an underlying savagery.
