Vinyl records London dig this New Picture Disc Vinyl Records LP Vinyl by Deaf Havana. Deaf Havana are back with their 7th studio album Were Never Getting Out.The songs that materialised for Were Never Getting Out are, despite their shimmering disposition, devastatingly sad. Every anxiety, every step back, every wrench of the heart that comes with realising the life you thought you had built is crumbling around you is on display in vivid colour. And thats because most of them were written whilst James was in his marital home, penning breakup ballads before the breakup had even occurred. From the confused limbo of Carousel, detailing the dizziness that comes with this cycle of sadness and selfmedicating he was stuck in, to the tearstained Frida, 1939, where the concern of who he would be away from this massive part of his life comes to the forefront, through to the intent to not settling for the ordinary at the centre of Lawn Tennis or the fear of being the one to make the allimportant move surrounding Car Crash its heavy going, heartbreaking and spinetinglingly honest in equal measure. In embracing the rough with the smooth and taking the steps he never thought he was going to, James has found a balance that probably wasnt possible to locate in the past. And Were Never Getting Out, as a title defines that feeling perfectly and reflects even more in how he is looking to the future. There are things we will never truly escape. The life we have lived so far, no matter how much of a success or failure we see it being, is committed to the echelons of history. The scars will remain, and the remnants of our past lives will constantly flow through our bloodstream. But in using that to their advantage, Deaf Havana has never felt more prominent or powerful. Its excitement I feel now and not dread, I feel like this is a true fresh start.TracklistingSide A1 Life In Forward Motion2 Carousel3 Break4 Lawn Tennis5 Car Crash6 Hurts To Be LonelySide B7 Frida 19398 Dog9 Cigarettes & Hotel Beds10 Were Never Getting Out11 Tracing Lines12 Ill Be Around

Let All That We Imagine Be The Light Limited Edition Pearl Sunrise Vinyl & Transparent Neon Orange Vinyl – Garbage
Vinyl records London dig this New Red Vinyl Vinyl Records Red Vinyl by Garbage. Pearl Sunrise Vinyl in Gatefold Sleeve with Printed Clear Over SleeveTransparent Neon Orange Vinyl in Gatefold Sleeve with Printed Clear Over SleeveLet All That We Imagine Be The Light is the eighth studio record from Garbage and was recorded at Red Razor Sounds in Los Angeles, Butch Vigs studio Grunge Is Dead, and Shirley Mansons bedroom. The record was produced by the band and longtime engineer Billy Bush. The album is unmistakably Garbage. All the hallmarks and signatures for which they are known are present here. Big angular guitars, precise, propulsive beats and cinematic soundscapes all lurk beneath Shirley Mansons expressive voice, her lyrics bristling with attitude. It is the sound of a group at the peak of their creative powers characteristically harnessing sonic juxtapositions and moods to create an album that thrums equally with both light and shade.Going into making this record, I was determined to find a more hopeful, uplifting world to immerse myself in. The title of the album, Let All That We Imagine Be The Light is a perfect, headline statement for the record as a whole. When things feel dark it feels imperative to seek out the forces that are light, positive and beautiful in the world. It almost feels like a matter of life and death. A strategy for survival Shirley MansonGarbage consists of all four original band members, Shirley Manson, Duke Erikson, Steve Marker and drummer Butch Vig. Over the 30 years since their inception in 1995 they have sold over 20 million albums. They are considered one of the most influential bands of their generation.TracklistSide A1.
