He joinedGlenn Matlocks Rich Kids, who released one album, Ghosts of Princes in Towers. Their second single,Marching Men, is included here. The following year, he and Rich Kids drummer Rusty Egan formedVisagewith Steve Strange. The lineup was completed byJohn McGeoch, Barry Adamson and Dave Formula from Magazineand Ultravox Keyboardist Billy Currie. Their second single,Fade To Grey, was a Top 10 hit. Included here is theMidge Ures Band Electronica 2017 rare version.In 1979 Billy Currie invited Midge to join Ultravox. What followed was six successful years in which the band scored two Top 3 and seven Top 20 singles, and two Top 5 and three Top 10 albums.Throughout the 1980s, in addition to his work with Ultravox and cowriting and organising Band Aid and Live Aid with Bob Geldof, Midge released several successful solo albums, including thenumber 2 album The Gift, which featured the number 1 single, If I Was. The Nineties saw Midge release his third solo album, Pure, which included the hitCold Cold Heartincluded here. It featured orchestrated rerecordings of Ultravox and solo career songs arranged by the composer Ty Unwin. From the remastering and artwork, to sourcing new images, the project has been fully orchestrated by both Paddy and Martin McAloon. The releases include Prefab Sprout’s debut album ‘Swoon’ a complex collection of songs that announced the band’s idiosyncratic style in an explosive way, as well as their third album ‘From Langley Park To Memphis’, containing their biggest hit “The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll” along with one of the best pop anthems of the 1980s – “Cars And Girls”. The album also features contributions from Stevie Wonder and Pete Townshend. The band will also include the release of ‘Jordan The Comeback’ from 1990 as a double LP for the first time internationally. This is an expansive album that draws on a huge breadth of influences and includes “Wild Horses”, which was not a single, but has grown to become one of the band’s best loved tracks. Finally, the fourth part in this batch is the band’s hit collection, ‘A Life of Surprises The Best Of’ which is available as a double LP for the first time.

Remastered Vinyl Records LP Vinyl The Waterboys Reissued on 180gm vinyl, with original artwork and audio cut from 2002 digital remaster, now available on vinyl for the first time.Formed in 1981, following a newspaper advertisement from the band’s only constant member Mike Scott, The Waterboys were a changing lineup of musicians from Scotland, Ireland and England, who spent time developing their mix of Celtic folk music with rock and roll in many different locations including Edinburgh, London, Dublin, Spiddal, New York, and Findhorn.Their eponymously titled debut in 1983 written by Mike Scott included the single A Girl Called Johnny, a tribute to Patti Smith.
