Essential Deluxe Crystal Clear 4LP Heavyweight Vinyl by Philip Glass
Through his operas, his symphonies, his compositions for his own ensemble, and his wideranging collaborations with artists ranging from Twyla Tharp to Allen Ginsberg, Woody Allen to David Bowie, Philip Glass has had an extraordinary and unprecedented impact upon the musical and intellectual life of his times. The operas Einstein on the Beach, Satyagraha, and Akhnaten among many others play throughout the worlds leading houses, and rarely to an empty seat. Glass has written music for experimental theater and for Academy Award winning motion pictures. Glass is the first composer to win a wide, multi generational audience in the opera house, the concert hall, the dance world, in film and in popular music simultaneously. Much of his early work was based on the extended reiteration of brief, elegant melodic fragments that wove in and out of an aural tapestry. Or, to put it another way, it immersed a listener in a sort of sonic weather that twists, turns, surrounds, develops. In the past 30 years, Glass has composed more than twentyfive operas, large and small twelve symphonies three piano concertos and concertos for violin, piano, timpani, and saxophone quartet and orchestra soundtracks to films ranging from new scores for the stylized classics of Jean Cocteau to Errol Morriss documentary about former defense secretary Robert McNamara string quartets a growing body of work for solo piano and organ. Essential is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on crystal clear vinyl. The 4LP is housed in a deluxe 10mm slipcase sleeve and includes a 4page booklet.

Change Everything Heavyweight Vinyl by Del Amitri
Originally released on A&M Records in June 1992, Change Everything reached No 2 in the UK charts and spawned four Top 30 singles This reissue faithfully replicates the original 1992 A&M UK release and is pressed onto high quality 180g vinyl.Change Everything is an apposite title for this album, the first since Waking Hours, their breakthrough record which had appeared in 1989. Starting off as a janglesome Scottish indie group, Del Amitri had developed into a westcoast influenced leftfield pop act, and now with the wind of success in their hair after the protracted build of Waking Hours, the group Justin Currie, Iain Harvie, David Cummings, Andy Alston and Brian McDermott paired up with producer Gil Norton and crafted a handsome rock album to capitalise on their success. It’s a varied, expansive selection. Ballads are represented by the delightful First Rule Of Love and Be My Downfall, but it is the uptempo numbers that shine, typified by Change Everything’s lead single, Always The Last To Know, a No 11 hit in the UK and a No 30 stateside. All 12 tracks emphasise just how important Del Amitri were to ‘the other 90s’ straightforward, intelligent music, away from the headline fads.

For LP Fans Only Translucent Blue Heavyweight Vinyl by Elvis Presley
After Elvis Presley was drafted into the army in 1958, it was not possible for him to do any new live film performances for two years. A great idea, as many of the 7 versions were hard to find outside the South of the United States. The result was an amazing overview, titled For LP Fans Only, of some of Elvis best moments of the 1950s with songs like Thats All Right and Youre A Heartbreaker. For LP Fans Only is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl.
