Description

Available with Vinyl records London. Remastered Vinyl Records LP Vinyl The Chameleons The Chameleons fourth and final studio album receives its firstever outing on vinyl this December, with the initial pressing on 2 x heavyweight coloured discs presented in a gatefold sleeve. Why Call It Anything was produced by David M Allen Strange Times and was the band’s first full studio recordings after a fifteenyear break. Featuring the rich guitars and powerful vocals associated with previous Chameleons albums WCIA is enriched by members solo pursuits throughout the 1990’s, with some of the songs having an acoustic, almost folky feel. But fans of The Chameleons rockier side won’t be disappointed with tracks such as Shades and Indiana packing an almighty punch. The remastered album was cut for vinyl at Abbey Road by engineer Geoff Pesche whose impressive CV includes cutting the lacquer for the best selling 12” of all time, New Order’s Blue Monday.

Official Double Vinyl

Twice the wax, double the depth. Double LPs spread music across two records to preserve sound quality and include bonus tracks, alternate takes, or extended mixes. A premium choice for albums that deserve more space to breathe.

Official Heavyweight LP

Pressed on thicker, higher-grade vinyl — often 180 grams — for improved durability and fidelity. Heavyweight LPs reduce surface noise and deliver a deeper, more stable sound, making them a preferred choice for serious listeners.

Official LP Vinyl

The classic long-playing record — rich, warm, and timeless. LPs usually hold a full album, pressed at 33⅓ RPM, offering the most authentic way to experience music as artists intended. Ideal for home listening and collectors who love the ritual of the needle drop.

Remastered

— Remastered editions are recordings that have been carefully enhanced using modern audio technology to improve clarity, balance, and overall sound quality. Working from the original master tapes or high-resolution sources, engineers refine the mix to bring out detail, depth, and dynamic range that may not have been fully realised in earlier pressings. Choose a remastered release if you want a cleaner, more defined listening experience while staying true to the original performance. Whether it’s a classic album given new life or a subtle sonic upgrade, remastered vinyl offers familiar music with renewed presence and precision..
