Rex’s 1973 singles as highly collectable 7” picture discs, with photos from the Keith Morris archive.The third release is “Truck On Tyke”, originally released in November 1973. It peaked in the UK charts at number 12, while the Top Ten featured Wizzard’s “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day” and Mott The Hoople’s “Roll Away The Stone” and Slade’s “Merry Xmas Everybody” was already at Number 1. “Truck On Tyke” stayed in the charts for eleven weeks.Neither “Truck On Tyke” or its Bside “Sitting Here” appeared on the “Zinc Alloy” album, released in early 1974.
