It peaked in the UK charts at number 4, while 10cc “Rubber Bullets”, Fleetwood Mac “Albatross” and Suzi Quatro “Can The Can” occupied the top three positions. “The Groover” stayed in the charts for nine weeks.bull Neither “The Groover” or its Bside “Midnight” appeared on the “Zinc Alloy” album, released in January 1974.
