Description

Stepmom is a 1998 comedydrama film directed by Chris Columbus and stars Julia Roberts, Susan Sarandon, Ed Harris and Jena Malone. The story follows a terminally ill woman dealing with her exhusbands new lover, who soon will become their childrens stepmother. Susan Sarandon was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama for performance. The music was composed and conducted by the legendary John Williams, who already worked together with Columbus on Home Alone and Home Alone 2 Lost in New York. They would also continue to work together on the first two movies of the Harry Potter franchise. For the soundtrack of Stepmom, Williams received a BMI Film Music Award in 1999. Stepmom is available on vinyl for the very first time as a limited edition of 500 individually numbered copies on translucent green coloured vinyl and includes an insert with liner notes by Chris Columbus.

Stuff About Clear Vinyl

See the music. Clear vinyl editions showcase the beauty of the record itself, often used for exclusive or special releases. Collectable, modern, and a striking addition to any turntable.

Stuff About Double Vinyl

Twice the wax, double the depth. Double LPs spread music across two records to preserve sound quality and include bonus tracks, alternate takes, or extended mixes. A premium choice for albums that deserve more space to breathe.

Stuff About Green Vinyl

Vibrant and rare, green vinyl brings colour to your collection with a touch of exclusivity. Ideal for reissues, limited runs, or themed pressings that celebrate the artistry of vinyl design.

Stuff About Heavyweight LP

Pressed on thicker, higher-grade vinyl — often 180 grams — for improved durability and fidelity. Heavyweight LPs reduce surface noise and deliver a deeper, more stable sound, making them a preferred choice for serious listeners.
