Black Vinyl Vinyl Records Black Vinyl Toyah bull 140gm black vinyl repress of the remastered Toyah debut album ‘Sheep Farming In Barnet’. bull Contains the fan favourites ‘Race Through Space’, ‘Neon Womb’ and ‘Danced’, all of which went on to become signature songs for the band. bull With brand new inner bag features rare and unseen imagery of Toyah and the band from the period. bull Plus official lyrics for the album never previously included with previous album releases. When initially released on limited edition white vinyl in December 2020, it sold out immediately and kickstarted the critically acclaimed reissue programme of Toyah’s entire Safari Records catalogue. Produced by Steve James and Keith Hale, the album reached number 1 on the UK Independent Albums in February 1980 and celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2020. Includes ‘Victims Of The Riddle’ 1979, Toyah’s very first single release which was followed up by the sixtrack minialbum ‘Sheep Farming In Barnet’ that contained three tracks perside on a 33 13 playing seveninch vinyl record. This minialbum was then expanded to a full length 11 track album originally for the German market in early 1980 by adding the ‘Victims’ seveninch A and Bsides and further tracks that were also recorded at Chappell Studios, London.
