Description

Available with Vinyl records London. New Vinyl Records Heavyweight LP Gene Revelations is Genes third studio album released in 1999. 13 track album features the singles As Good As It Gets reached no.23 UK charts and Fill Her Up. Pressed on 180g Heavyweight vinyl with original artwork with printed inner sleeve. Inspired by the songs of The Smiths, The Jam and The Faces, Martin Rossiters literate vocals and Steve Masons fluid guitar lines were perfectly complemented by the intuitive rhythm section of Kevin Miles and Matt James. They released four studio albums and a collection of Bsides and radio demos between 1995 and 2001, were named Best New Act at the inaugural NME awards in 1995, and went on to score 10 Top 40 hits.

Official Heavyweight LP

Pressed on thicker, higher-grade vinyl — often 180 grams — for improved durability and fidelity. Heavyweight LPs reduce surface noise and deliver a deeper, more stable sound, making them a preferred choice for serious listeners.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. You’ll find albums across rock, indie, electronic, punk, metal, hip-hop and beyond, alongside reissues, limited editions and coloured vinyl where available. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.
