You know where you are at with a tape, grab a new copy on old school tape. Bring your own pencil. The Bath trio are back with their highly anticipated EP ‘Machete Western’ aka, CASSETTE WESTERN. Available exclusively on LIMITED EDITION cassette tape.Echoing with desertstrung, Zeppelinlike vocals, sunkissed beats, atmospheric electronics and horizonfilling guitars, the EP demonstrates expanded ambition thanks to a collaboration with fellow Bath residents, dance collectiveproducers Bad Sounds & Tom Dalgety Pixies, Royal Blood, Rammstein. The EP is a product of the 3 brothers expanding sonic pallet, inspired by the genre blending stylings of acts like Paramore, Gorillaz, Warmduscher and, their south west comrades, The Heavy to push themselves in their songwriting and the influences they bring to their sound. “We were all thinking that with the next thing we’d do we would venture out a bit,” explains Will of the urge to build up on the band’s foundations as they sought to move forward. “So we’ve pushed ourselves to just go and explore because we know we are at our best when we are breaking new ground. The thing that keeps us working together, is that our shared attitude has always been seeking rather than repeating.”

Stuff About Cassette Tape

A nostalgic return to the golden age of mixtapes. Cassette tapes bring back the warmth and character of true analogue sound — compact, portable, and perfectly imperfect. Whether it’s a new album release or a limited-edition reissue, cassettes offer a tactile listening experience that digital can’t match. Ideal for collectors and anyone who remembers rewinding with a pencil.
