Vinyl Records London are on cloud nine, we are now spinning in a brand new copy in LP Vinyl from Mink DeVille 1982 found Mink DeVille developing their original New York punk origins into a subtler, rootsier sound blending soul, R & B, Cajun and other inshyfluences, but still looking and sounding as sharp as ever, with leader Willy DeVille in particularly fine form. It was to be their only appearance at Montreux, although Willy DeVille has since returned as a solo artist. The band had released their fourth album “Coup De Grace” and the show features tracks from across their career up to that point plus their cover of the Ben E King classic “Stand By Me”.
