Description

Available with Vinyl records London. New Vinyl Records David Bowie Hunky Dory is the fourth studio album by English musician David Bowie, released on 17 December 1971 through RCA Records. Following the release of his 1970 album, The Man Who Sold the World, Bowie took time off from recording and touring. He settled down to write new songs, composing on piano rather than guitar as on earlier tracks. Following a tour of the United States, Bowie assembled a new backing band consisting of guitarist Mick Ronson, bassist Trevor Bolder and drummer Mick Woodmansey, and began to record a new album in mid1971 at Trident Studios in London. Future Yes member Rick Wakeman contributed on piano. Bowie coproduced the album with Ken Scott, who had engineered Bowies previous two records.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. You’ll find albums across rock, indie, electronic, punk, metal, hip-hop and beyond, alongside reissues, limited editions and coloured vinyl where available. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.
