Graced with the incomparable vocal talents of Brian Johnson later to see global fame as the lead singer with ACDC NewcastleUponTynes hard rockin Geordie released a string of influential albums in the 1970s and even visited the upper reaches of the singles chart.Geordies first and biggest hit singles Dont Do That and All Because Of You respectively both feature on the outstanding Hope You Like It, the bands wellreceived debut album from 1973. With a sound that landed somewhere between the glamstomp of Slade and the blues stylings of Led Zeppelin, Hope You Like It still delivers a blast of Northern English air some 50 years on.
