Description

Vinyl records London dig this New Silver Vinyl Vinyl Records Double Vinyl by Chelsea Wolfe. Chelsea Wolfes album 34Abyss34 deliberately confronts the boundaries between dreams and reality to craft a score to that realm she describes as the hazy afterlife an inverted thunderstorm the dark backward the abyss of time. As Wolfe notes Abyss is meant to have the feeling of when youre dreaming, and you briefly wake up, but then fall back asleep into the same dream, diving quickly into your own subconscious. To conjure this inbetween world, Wolfe continued her ongoing collaboration with multiinstrumentalist and cowriter Ben Chisholm with drummer Dylan Fujioka, Ezra Buchla brought on board to play viola, Mike Sullivan Russian Circles enlisted to contribute guitar, plus slide guitar contributions from D.H. Phillips True Widow. The ensemble travelled to Dallas, TX to record with producer John Congleton Swans, St. Vincent. In the back of her mind burned the words of designer Yohji Yamamoto 34Perfection is ugly. Somewhere in the things humans make, I want to see scars, failure, disorder, distortion. The resulting eleven songs reflect that philosophy as they smoulder with human frailty, intimacy, quiet passion, anxiety, and deep longing. In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Sargent House is set to release a limitededition reissue of Abyss with new vinyl colour variants in a silver foil gatefold jacket and CD in silver foil digipak with 16page booklet.

Official Silver Vinyl

Silver Vinyl brings a clean, reflective look to the format, often used for special editions, anniversary pressings, and limited runs. The metallic finish adds a subtle sense of occasion while keeping the focus firmly on the music and the quality of the pressing. Whether it’s a modern release or a classic reissue, silver vinyl offers a distinctive alternative to standard black. It’s ideal for collectors who appreciate thoughtful presentation and for anyone looking to add something visually striking to their record collection without losing its timeless feel.
