Tina Turners third solo studio album Rough reissued on vinyl for the first time in 20 years. 1978s Rough saw Turner depart from the highoctane rock and soul sound of previous albums. Recently separated from her husband and musical partner Ike Turner, this album carved a new musical identity blending disco and blues with the opening track Fruits of the Night and Bob Segars Fire Down Below. She was inducted into the Rock amp Roll Hall of Fame in 1991 as part of Ike amp Tina Turner and again as a solo act in 2021, has stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and St. Louis Walk of Fame. Her 1988 Break Every Rule tour, broke the world record for the largest paying audience at a solo concert, with 184,000 at the Maracan in Rio de Janeiro and Rolling Stone Magazine named her 17 in 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and 63 in 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
