Influenced by singers such as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Mica Paris, Terri became heavily involved in the UK Garage scene. She contributed vocals to tracks for the likes of Shanks amp Bigfoot and Jaimeson whilst still creating her own brand of urban soul music. Untitled her debut release on Mercury via Defsoul UK was critically acclaimed. About the albums title she said Thats how I want people to see my work.
