Closure / Continuation.Live Limited Edition 4xLP Boxset
4x 12 heavyweight clear vinyl, in individual sleeves and inner bags housed in slipcase.Following a career spanning an excess of 20 years, and with 10 studio albums under their belt, Porcupine Tree have longestablished an undiminishing reverence held by fans and critics alike. Hailed as a genre leading, and defying alternative rock band, their inimitable sound effortlessly flirts between a multitude of styles including the classic rock songcraft, downturned metal and expanding electronics. When Porcupine Tree went on hiatus in 2010 following their biggest ever headline show at Londons Royal Albert Hall, they were a cult band. Although the genredefying alternative rock band were massively revered by their diehard community of fans, they remained largely unknown in the wider world a very British anomaly whose unique music could veer sonically between fierce, expansive rocknroll, ambient techno and skywards soaring acoustics in the space of a single song and whose lyrics more often than not dwelt in the darker corners of the human psyche.By the time Porcupine Tree Steven Wilson, Richard Barbieri, Gavin Harrison announced their return in 2021, things were a little different. Their cult had grown, and grown.Porcupine Trees eleventh album ClosureContinuation was released to a clean sweep of glowing reviews. It reached No 2 in the UK album chart, No 1 in Germany and was Top 10 all across Europe. The bands subsequent arena tour crossed four continents and played to over 150,000 people, many of whom would never have seen the band before. Each night, the band played for nearly three hours and mined a deep, rich back catalogue that had lain dormant and untouched for the past decade. Fan reaction from city to city was nothing short of ecstatic.ClosureContinuation Live documents Porcupine Trees triumphant return to the stage perfectly. A live recording captured on 7th November 2022 at Amsterdams 17,000 capacity Ziggo Dome, it places the listenerviewer right at the heart of the stage for the duration of the show as psychotropic visuals explode behind the band as they play a superlative set of songs that features to use Steven Wilsons words no hits, where each one is received like an anthem from an alternate universe.ClosureContinuation Live includes live recordings of much of their 2022 reunion album including the singles Harridanand Of The New Day as well as classic tracks like Trains, Fear of a Blank Planet and Anesthetize.

Women In Revolt! Tote Bag
12039039 Neon yellow vinyl, heavyweight 180gm.Women In Revoltis an exhibition of work by over 100 women artists working in the UK during the 1970s and 80s. In a first of its kind showing, it explores how women used radical ideas and rebellious methods to change the face of British culture. With music, painting, sculpture, photography, film, and performance, they forged a path for women039s039 liberation in the UK, against a backdrop of extreme social change.Drawing on the work and experiences of women outside the establishment and often excluded from art history, Women In Revolt Showcases a productive, politically engaged set of communities, who paved the way for future generations. It explores and reflects on issues and events such as the British Womens Liberation movement, the fight for legal changes impacting women, maternal and domestic experiences, Punk and independent music, Greenham Common and the peace movement, the visibility of Black and South Asian Women Artists, Section 28 and the AIDs pandemic. To underline this trailblazing exhibition, a compilation has been dutifully curated to further reveal the music, sound art, and prominent musicians creating during this artistic and societal paradigm shift. The music that defines and defied this era, not only soundtracked but spurred on increasingly impassioned creative output and representation for women. Bands included on the compilation like XRay Spex and The Slits remain front of mind for bands espousing this robust stance both sonically and politically, with equally impactful artists included like Ludus, whose lead singer Linder Sterling also impacted the genre with her radical feminist visual artwork and music.
