lsquoIntruderrsquo is Numanrsquos 18th solo studio album and follows 2017rsquos lsquoSavage Songs From A Broken Worldrsquo, which became his highest charting set in almost forty years when it debuted at 2 on the Official Albums Chart. That commercial success was complemented with widereaching critical acclaim from Mojo, The Quietus, PopMatters and more.Whereas lsquoSavagersquo depicted earth as a barren wasteland in which humanity and culture had been largely crushed by the effects of global warming, lsquoIntruderrsquo presents a fresh but complementary narrative. Itrsquos a philosophical examination of a potential future apocalypse the planet can only survive by purging its inhabitants.lsquoIntruderrsquo was recorded between sessions at Numanrsquos home studio in Los Angeles and at producer Ade Fentonrsquos studio in Bath. It represents their fifth studio album together after lsquoJaggedrsquo 2006, lsquoDead Sun Risingrsquo 2011, lsquoSplinter Songs From A Broken Mindrsquo 2013 and lsquoSavage Songs From A Broken Worldrsquo 2017. Since coming to prominence with eradefining hits such as lsquoCarsrsquo and lsquoAre lsquoFriendsrsquo Electricrsquo with Tubeway Army, Gary Numan has remained consistently creative and released a huge catalogue of work. His impact on electronic and alternative music has been hailed by pioneers such as Prince, David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails and remains impactful today, with Kanye West and Lady Gaga both crediting him as an influence. He was rewarded with the prestigious Inspiration Award at the Ivor Novellos in 2017 and shared his remarkable story with 2020rsquos candid autobiography lsquoRevolutionrsquo.Preordering the forthcoming studio album assigns you access to a private area of the store where you receive Exclusive album text, audio and video updates from Gary as he sets off on the journey of recording the album.

Kvitravn Double Vinyl Double Heavyweight LP
Deluxe Heavyweight Vinyl Gatefold Sleeve Features Deluxe 12 Page Artwork Booklet Standard Black VinylMasterful Norwegian storytellers Wardruna reveal the release date and title of their brandnew album, Kvitravn, incoming on Sony MusicColumbia Germany for the world partnering with Music for Nations for the UK, on 5th June.Following an intensive period in the studio, Kvitravn musically continues where the Runaljod trilogy left off, yet it marks a distinct evolution in Wardrunas unique sound. In a rich musical tapestry, Wardruna use a broad selection of both traditional and historical instruments such as Kraviklyre, Trossingenlyre, Taglharpa, Sootharp, Langeleik, Crwth, Goathorn, Lur, Bronzelur, flute, Moraharpa, and the record also features guest appearances by a small group of prominent traditional singers, spearheaded by Kirsten Braringten Berg, one of the most important custodians of Norwegian traditional song. Throughout eleven songs, Kvitravn discusses Northern sorcery, spiritanimals, shadows, nature and animism, the wisdom and meanings of certain myths, various Norse spiritual concepts, and the relation between sage and songs.About the new album, Wardruna founder Einar Selvik reveals, To recite and copy the past is not very difficult, but to understand and integrate ancient thoughts, tools and methods with real purpose into a creation that is relevant to the modern era is truly challenging and remains our prime goal in our work He continues, although the album carries a variant of my own totemic artist name, it has, in this context, little to do with me but rather refers to the symbolism and legends of sacred white animals found in Nordic and other cultures all over the world. These highly regarded ghostly creatures, whether a raven, snake, bear, moose, reindeer, elephant or lion are in animist traditions seen as prophetic, divine messengers, and guardians representing renewal, purity and a bridge between worldsrdquo.Wardruna have carved a rich, polyphonic and dramatic musical landscape that honours the ancient past without gimmick, whilst simultaneously illuminating meaningful expressions of Norse tradition through intrinsically detailed contemporary composition. Beyond genre, theirs is a sound that must be truly experienced.

Hands Of Fate Vinyl (w/ CD Insert) Heavyweight LP – Savage Messiah
Available with Vinyl records London. Signed Vinyl Records LP Vinyl Savage Messiah Includes 5×5 Inch Signed Art Card.If music is a universal language, heavy metal must surely be its most potent and inspirational dialect. Formed in London, Savage Messiah have steadily built a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive metal bands, with a sound that embraces the best of metallic strains, both past and present, and a tireless devotion to writing lifeaffirming anthems. As frontman and guitarist David Silver proudly states, 2017 marks the moment that these dedicated purveyors of gleaming British steel reach their moment of optimal, unifying power.2017 is destined to be a huge milestone for Savage Messiah, not least because the band have just recorded the finest record of their career so far. Their potential was always apparent from the youthful, thrashdriven fury of 2009’s debut album Insurrection Rising released through esteemed underground imprint Candlelight Records to the bold, epic clangour of the two albums the band released through the legendary Earache Records, Plague Of Conscience 2012 and The Fateful Dark 2014, David and his comrades have routinely hit creative heights that their peers could only dream about. Along the way they have gained a huge audience in Japan, where the band famously conquered the legendary Loud Park festival in October 2016, and have played shows across Europe with the likes of Amon Amarth, Trivium and Soulfly. But 2017 marks the moment that Savage Messiah truly live up to and surpass expectations. This time, the band are determined to play to their strengths.Savage Messiah is an honest, unpretentious, utterly enthralling and ambitious modern heavy metal band.
