At the end of the 80s in the central part of Holland a oneoff jam session by local musicians led to the birth of an influential and groundbreaking group Urban Dance Squad, led by MCSinger Rudeboy. Backed by a traditional rock band lineup plus DJ DNA, they pioneered the rockmeetsrap movement in Holland and abroad. The gig shook the US and blew alternative music lovers away.
