This September sees feted singersongwriter Tanita Tikaram celebrate her 50th birthday with the release of a brand new collection of 14 songs spanning over thirty years and nine albums. To Drink The Rainbow is the third release on Needle Mythology the label cofounded by record collector, music writer and broadcaster Pete Paphides. The songs included on To Drink The Rainbow were specially mastered at Abbey Road for 180g vinyl. The album has been pressed by Vinyl Factory at thenbsplegendary pressing plant in Hayes formerly EMI. To Drink The Rainbow will be released on gatefold vinyl and CD. Ten of the tracks here are pressed on vinyl for the first time , the LP pressing will come with a bonus twotrack seveninch featuring an acoustic version of Valentine Heart, and a previously unreleased version of Glass Love Train .The CD will feature all twelve songs on the album as well as the two bonus tracks taken from the 7.On Aug 30 all preorders will receive a download of previously unreleased lsquoGlass Love Train Acousticrsquo
