Description

Wake Up and Smell the Coffee is the fifth studio album by Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries, issued for the first time on vinyl for Record Store Day 2023. Originally released in October 2001, the album sold 1,300,000 copies within its first year of release and was widely seen as a return to form for the band as they reunited with producer Stephen Street. With this first ever vinyl release the artwork, designed by the legendary Storm Thorgerson Pink Floyd, can now be fully appreciated. This release is the latest reissue in UMRs ongoing catalogue work with the Cranberries following on from the deluxe reissues of their debut album Everybody Else is Doing Ithellip and multimillionselling followup No Need To Argue, as well as two vinyl editions of the bands greatest hits collection Stars, and Remembering Dolores, a new compilation release that celebrated the life of muchmissed singer Dolores ORiordan. Please allow 57 business days for dispatch. Vinyl

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
