Description

Following their lsquoNowherersquo 30th anniversary UK tour last year, shoegaze legends Ride reissue two more titles of their early classic albums lsquoTarantularsquo and lsquoCarnival of Lightrsquo via Wichita Recordings. These follow last yearrsquos reissues of lsquoNowherersquo, lsquo4EPsrsquo, and lsquoGoing Blank Againrsquo from their days on Creation Records. lsquoTarantularsquo, the fourth and final album before their split, is released on CD and transparent orange vinyl, and includes three bonus tracks. All the original audio has been reworked and refined. One of the leading lights of the early 90rsquos shoegaze scene, Ride reformed in 2014, releasing their first album in over 20 years in 2017. lsquoWeather Diariesrsquo was produced by Erol Alkan and greeted by a raft of critical and commercial acclaim, reaching Number 11 in the UK album charts. It also saw Ride reunited with Wichita Recordsrsquo Dick Green and Mark Bowen, who worked with the band during their early years on Creation Records.
