New Model Army on Double Vinyl Double Vinyl from New Model Army is available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £30 +P&P Raw, unfiltered, and brimming with energy, Live SO36 captures punk rock at its finest.The Double Vinyl features New Model Armys full electrifying performance of July 16th, 2022, at Berlins legendary SO36, as audio and video. 20 Songs, mixing both fanfavourites such as The Hunt, 1984 and Poison Street, and rarer songs, the band has never performed live before.The album can be seen as an indirect successor to their 2023 live release Sinfonia. Because when the idea of doing a New Model Army concert with a full orchestra at Berlins magnificent Tempodrom venue was first floated, the Band had a thought that if they were going to do something so extravagant, they should also do the exact opposite on the same weekend. So, they booked the following two evenings at Berlins legendary Punk Rock sweatbox, the SO36 in Kreuzberg, and returned to being the simplest, strippeddown version of New Model Army they could be without orchestra, keyboards or double drums. Over the two nights, the band performed 38 different songs to add to the 21 performed with the orchestra, with the intention that the weekend should be seen as a whole. The Sinfonia project, in all its magnificence, was released in 2023 now, at last, comes the sweaty, fullon rock and roll.
