Available with Vinyl records London. Silver Vinyl Vinyl Records 12 Inch Vinyl Mel & Kim Originally certified silver and featuring three UK Top Ten hits the 1 smash ‘Respectable’, the club anthem ‘Showing Out’ and the irresistible title cut ‘F.L.M.’ is one of only two albums where every track boasts the songwriting and production talents of Stock Aitken Waterman the other being Donna Summer s ‘Another Place and Time’. In 1986, Cockney sisters Mel and Kim Appleby conquered clubs and charts worldwide with ‘Showing Out’ a perfect pop hit now also acknowledged as the firstever British house record. ‘Respectable’ then became the very first SAW composition to top the UK charts. But in the summer of 1987, Mel was diagnosed with cancer and tragically passed away in January 1990, aged just 23. Later that year, Kim made her solo debut with the 2 smash ‘Don’t Worry’, and a further string of hits followed. More recently, she has graced the stage for Let’s Rock and Rewind festivals, and teamed up with Midge Ure for the acclaimed BBC series ‘Smashing Hits’. Following a hugely popular Singles Box Set, we are delighted to continue working with Kim to honour the Mel & Kim legacy.

Originally a DJ’s favourite, 12-inch vinyl offers extra room for louder, more detailed grooves. Perfect for dance, disco, and extended club mixes — but equally suited to full-length albums pressed with audiophile care.

Official Silver Vinyl

Silver Vinyl brings a clean, reflective look to the format, often used for special editions, anniversary pressings, and limited runs. The metallic finish adds a subtle sense of occasion while keeping the focus firmly on the music and the quality of the pressing. Whether it’s a modern release or a classic reissue, silver vinyl offers a distinctive alternative to standard black. It’s ideal for collectors who appreciate thoughtful presentation and for anyone looking to add something visually striking to their record collection without losing its timeless feel.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.
