Lee Scratch Perry on Heavyweight Vinyl Heavyweight Vinyl from Lee Scratch Perry is available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £33 +P&P The original Jamaican extraterrestrial marked a return to the power of Lee Scratch Perry s most spacedout work. On Jamaican E.T., Perry created a contemporary and challenging set by applying his psychedelic dub to roots reggae, modern reggae, Hiphop, and dazed, otherworldly exotica. The riddims are groovy, but Perry s greatest strength has always been his mixology. On this album, instead of his usual dub mixes full of insane rhythmic effects, Perry utilizes the voice as his primary instrument of dub laidback toasting, singing, mumbling, and gospel backups come in and out, crisscrossing and swirling, truly setting a new mark. In 2003 it won the Grammy award for Best Reggae Album. Jamaican E.T. is available as a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on gold coloured vinyl.

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
