For more check out all the official Gerry Rafferty merchandise & vinyl available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £36 +P&P Originally released in 1978, City To City was Gerry Rafferty’ second solo album and first release since his departure from Stealers Wheel. The album was a worldwide top 10 hit across the globe, including 1 in the US, going platinum in the process. For this double vinyl release, City to City has been newly remastered at halfspeed by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, a method used to improve audio quality. The album is masterclass in songwriting, production and musicianship, featuring arguably the most famous saxophone riff of all time with Baker Street, as well as the understated love song, the recent viral hit Right Down The Line.

Vinyl

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
