As the title suggests, the album offers an insight into an 8 month period of Fred’s life, stitching together vocal clips and found sounds to create a deeply autobiographical followup to his breakthrough record Actual Life April 14 December 17 2020. The repress remains on a clear vinyl, but this time round the vinyl comes in a black inner bag.Actual Life 2 February 2 October 15 2021 features his hit singles Billie loving arms, Hannah the sun and Faisal envelops me. With this body of work, we’re offered a snapshot of an artist dealing with the many complexities of griefexploring how confiding in close friends and family have helped him heal wounds, but also acknowledging how that grief is indelibly etched into his subconscious.Fred has quickly become one of the most talked about live acts as he transformed his Actual Life records into an immersive, communal reallife experience for the first time, selling out shows across the UK and USA. Fred again.., Skrillex and Four Tet recently did a series of pop up events across New York, culminating in a record breaking sold out, 5 hour b2b set at Madison Square Garden. Also been announced that Fred will be performing the penultimate slot at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
