This is the first time the albums have been made available since their release in the 2018 boxset lsquoUnattended LuggagersquolsquoNick Masonrsquos Fictitious Sportsrsquonbspis Nickrsquos debut solo album and his first work outside ofnbspPink Floyd. Originally released in 1981, it saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. The album was recorded in 1979 at a session booked in America where Nick, Carla and Robert were going to bring their ideas together, but ahead of the trip, Carla sent Nick a demo cassettehellipnbspldquoIt was very different from what she had done before and absolutely in line with what I likerdquonbspcommented Nick in 2012hellip and it went on to be the nucleons of the album.lsquoProfilesrsquonbspis Nicks first collaboration with 10cc guitaristnbspRick Fennnbspand was his second album outside of Pink Floyd. Released in 1985 asnbsplsquoMason Fennrsquo, it is mainly an instrumental album except for tracks lsquoLie for a Liersquo, which features vocals from Maggie Reilly and former bandmate David Gilmour and lsquoIsraelrsquo, sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.lsquoWhite of the Eyersquonbspis the soundtrack of a British thriller movie of the same name. Originally released in 1987, Nick once again collaborated with Rick Fenn and it was released in conjunction with the films release.
