Description

The View announce lsquoExorcism of Youthrsquo their first album since 2015, via Cooking Vinyl.Kyle and bandmates Kieran Webster bassvocals and Pete Reilly guitar departed their homes in Scotland to record the record in the inspiring surroundings of Granada, Spain, with the assistance of a top tier producer in the shape of the Grammy Award winner Youth The Verve, Jesus amp Mary Chain, The Charlatans. They returned with lsquoExorcism of Youthrsquo in the bag, a record which combines the raucous energy of The Viewrsquos early work with some poignant slowburners drawn from personal experience, and Kylersquos gift for lyricism which is equal parts observational, witty and insightful.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. You’ll find albums across rock, indie, electronic, punk, metal, hip-hop and beyond, alongside reissues, limited editions and coloured vinyl where available. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.
