Description
Eric Claptonrsquos lifelong passion for the blues burns brightly innbspNothing But The Blues. The soundtrack features 17 previously unreleased live performances recorded in 1994 during the legendary guitaristrsquos tour supportingnbspFrom The Cradle, his Grammywinning, multiplatinum blues album.nbspClaptonrsquos longtime coproducer, Simon Climie, has remixed the audio from those performances from the original multitracking recordings. The previously unreleased live performances onnbspNothing But the Bluesnbspserve as a vital counterpart tonbspFrom The Cradle, which was recorded in the studio. While several songs appear on both ldquoMotherless Child, rdquo ldquoStanding rsquoRound Crying, rdquo and ldquoIrsquom Tore Downrdquo, the performances are entirely different. The release also includes songs that did not appear onnbspFrom the Cradle, including Jimmy Rogersrsquo ldquoBlues All Day Longrdquo and Robert Johnsonrsquos ldquoMalted Milk, rdquo as well as the standards ldquoEvery Day I Have The Bluesrdquo and ldquoFortyFour.rdquo
