Description

English heavymetal band Diamond Head was formed in Stourbridge by guitarist Brian Tatler and drummer Duncan Scott in 1976. Diamond Head were part of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal and have been acknowledged by bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as a significant early influence. The album Borrowed Time is one of the alltime classic albums from the NWOBHM era and was originally released in 1982. The albums openers In the Heat of the Night and Call Me are both power ballads, strongly signifying the bands approach to a more mainstream sound. Sean Harris portrays a vivid picture with his soulsearching vocals and guitarist Brian Tatler adds great solos and rhythms to the songs. The album also features Am I Evil, which remains the bands signature song, which rose to international prominence after it was covered by Metallica. 180 GRAM AUDIOPHILE VINYL SECOND STUDIO ALBUM BY THE NWOBHM BAND DIAMOND HEAD FEATURING THEIR SIGNATURE SONG AM I EVIL AND THE SINGLES CALL ME AND IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT

Browse LP releases identified as heavyweight vinyl. The term describes how the product is presented in the listing, but it does not by itself confirm an exact gram weight, mastering method or sound difference. The collection can include different artists, album types, colours and editions. Some listings may be multi-disc releases or part of a bundle. Check the product page for the stated weight, record size, disc count, tracklist, pressing details and current availability before ordering. Use the listing rather than the label for exact specifications.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. You’ll find albums across rock, indie, electronic, punk, metal, hip-hop and beyond, alongside reissues, limited editions and coloured vinyl where available. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.
