Garage rock legends the Stooges unleashed their raucous self titled debut onto an unsuspecting world in the otherwise flowery and peaceful year of 1969. it contains several of their classic songs including I Wanna Be Your Dog and No Fun. Youd have thought critics would have flipped but it was met with a lot of disdain at the time being described as stupid and a step back in a music scene that was moving terrifyingly towards progressive rock. Little did they know that its thrilling raw power see what I did there would be a major influence on punk rock.
