Description
Written, recorded, and produced on a computer in a garage, Revival wonderfully reiterates that CASTLEBEAT has always been a project built on diy, lofi production, and in so doing, Hwang constantly showcases a brilliant and balanced oscillation between various textures and melodies. Revival takes inspiration from the best parts of postpunk, dream pop, synthpop, and shoegaze becoming the slightest bit surreal the tracks rest on the fine line between the actual and the remarkably cinematic.01 Way Too Much02 Tonight03 Hat Trick04 Ivy League05 Call Me06 Lies07 Like A Dream08 Heaven09 Torn Up10 With You11 Taking The Fall12 Downtown13 Anymore14 Revival15 199016 Never Seen Your Face
