Description

On July 31, 2021 Surfdog Records will rerelease Setzer Goes InstruMENTAL on clear splatter vinyl. Originally released in 2011, the vinyl has been out of print for years, and its time to go instruMENTAL again. After many years of honing his craft, Brian released his first allinstrumental album in 2011, showcasing what has made him one of the most legendary and credible artists in music today. He is universally respected by his peers and some are even calling him the greatest living guitar player today. We stand behind their claims with Setzer Goes InstruMENTALWith 6 original Brian Setzer tracks, new interpretations of legendary recordings by Gene Vincent, Earl Scruggs and Bill Monroe, and songs dating back to the dancehall orchestras of the 1930s, this record should appeal to any fan of instrumental rock, surf, rockabilly, jazz and bluegrass.

Official Vinyl Records

Vinyl Records are at the heart of what we do, from brand new releases to classic pressings that never lose their pull. You’ll find albums across rock, indie, electronic, punk, metal, hip-hop and beyond, alongside reissues, limited editions and coloured vinyl where available. Whether you’re crate-digging for something familiar or discovering a record for the first time, everything here is chosen for people who actually listen, not just collect. Alongside vinyl, our store brings together official band merchandise and music culture essentials in one place. That means band t-shirts, hoodies, posters, accessories and select collectibles, all sitting naturally alongside the records they belong with. It’s a space built for music fans — the kind who care about artwork, sound, and the stories behind it — whether you’re buying your next favourite record or something to wear, hang, or keep that connects you to the music you love.

— Splatter vinyl pressings feature a dramatic paint-splashed effect, where contrasting colours are scattered across the record’s surface. Each copy has a slightly unique pattern, giving the release an individual look while maintaining the same analogue playback quality as standard pressings. Choose a splatter edition if you want something visually bold and collectible. Often produced in limited quantities, these variants combine striking presentation with the timeless warmth of vinyl sound..
