Theres an air of the expansive pop of Fleetwood Mac, with the bassdriven electronic undercurrent of Ewan Pearsons production and the hazy, euphoric guitars giving the track a unique character. Its dusty aesthetic and captivatingly detached vocal makes for an alluring and beautifully rendered roadtrip record. On the B side, Ewan Pearson, who has produced the band’ s debut LP, and remixed the likes of Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Gwenno, Jagwar Ma and Royksopp, shares his incredible remix of his original production. It is a chugging house rework in his signature style, which makes an ecstatic focus of the track’ s howling choral line.
