Dream Harder Heavyweight Vinyl. This Heavyweight Vinyl is in stock. For more check out all the official The Waterboys merchandise & vinyl available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £26 +P&P Dream Harder is the sixth studio album by The Waterboys, released in 1993. Scottish singersongwriter and bandmember Mike Scott produced the album together with acclaimed producer Bill Price, which resulted in a return to the rockbased sound. The song Love And Death was an arrangement of a poem by the Irish poet William Butler Yeats, The Return Of Jimi Hendrix a tribute to the famous guitarist, and other songs contain references to prehistorical religion. Singles from the album were The Return Of Pan and Glastonbury Song. The album peaked at 5 in the UK Albums chart, reached several European charts and the US Billboard 200. Dream Harder is being reissued for the first time since its original release and includes an insert.
Heavyweight vinyl is pressed on thicker, denser material—typically weighing 180 grams or more. This added weight offers improved durability, reduced warping, and is often believed to provide better sound quality due to more stable playback. Many audiophile releases, reissues, and deluxe editions are pressed on heavyweight vinyl, making it a popular choice among collectors and music enthusiasts who value both performance and longevity. While it doesn’t automatically guarantee superior audio, its solid, premium feel and association with high-quality production standards have made it a trusted format for serious vinyl fans.
Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
