The Beatles returned to the BBC Paris Studio on May 1st for the third of their four From Us To You specials that would be broadcast on May 18th 1964. Three of the ten songs played were by their favourite rockabilly star Carl Perkins. Honey Dont was later recorded for the Beatles For Sale album with Ringo on vocals. On this version however, John sings the lead. Sure To Fall was never committed to wax and features a ska break on the bridge, just like they played on I Call Your Name. 1964 EP 33rpm. A 7-inch vinyl record is a smaller, compact format often used for singles or shorter releases. With a classic 45 RPM speed, 7-inch records offer a unique, vibrant sound that’s prized by collectors and fans alike. The smaller size makes them more portable, while their often eye-catching cover art stands out as a collector’s item.
7-inch vinyl is particularly popular for its nostalgic charm and its role in the era of singles and radio hits. Whether you’re collecting iconic releases or digging for hidden gems, 7-inch records continue to be a cherished part of music history.
Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
