Description

British power pop band Silver Sun formed in 1995 in Camden, London. Falling somewhere between Cheap Trick and the Buzzcocks with a touch of Teenage Fanclub, Silver Suns songs, penned by James Broad, are strikingly powerful little pop nuggets that are hard and tough on the outside, soft and gooey on the inside. Within this Bsides compilation you’ll find some great songs, plenty of great harmonies, and a powerhouse guitar attack that embraces you and shakes you off of your foundation. All the tracks were taken from the twopart U.K. singles for Golden Skin, Julia and one from the rereleased Lava’ . Previously only available exclusively in Japan. Now pressed on vinyl for the very first time. The sleeve illustration is by Jeff Cummins who was responsible for all of the bands striking early sleeve designs and the reissue is pressed on 140g black vinyl with printed inner sleeves. Silver Sun is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £22 +P&P

Vinyl

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
