Description

A repress of 500 units on this album on milky white double 180g vinyl. Gatefold sleeve. This pressing is limited to 500 copies only worldwide and will not be around for too long. Discovered by friends of Martin Hannett and with input from one of his relatives, these recordings give a rare insight into his production ideas for Joy Division and his relationship with the band, the strange things sound effects they recorded in the studio together, etc, etc. The studio chit chat and interplay between Hannett, Gretton and Joy Division members is all here as Martin left his own tape machine running throughout studio sessions. On this album we have rare alternative mixes of Joy Division that were Martin039s personal favourites and he had the forethought to get the band members to give him control of these recordings. A must for all Joy Division fans. Joy Division Vinyl is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £30 +P&P

Vinyl

Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.

Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
