Killer Triple Heavyweight Vinyl. This Heavyweight Vinyl is in stock. For more check out all the official Alice Cooper merchandise & vinyl available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £65 +P&P We’ve got two spectacular deluxe editions from Alice Cooper coming June 9, 2023. One is a reissue of 1972′ School’ Out, featuring new liner notes from Bill Holdship. The packaging will feature a popup school desk and panties – just like the original but these ones are nonflammable. The second is a deluxe reissue of 1971′ Killer, with a recreation of the original 1972 calendar that was included upon its release, along with new liner notes from Bill Holdship. Alice Cooper was unstoppable during the 1970s when the band released four consecutive platinum albums and five Top 40 hits like ‘I’m Eighteen,’ ‘School’ Out,’ ‘No More Mr. Nice Guy,’ and ‘Elected.’ Rhino will reissue two of those platinum albums – Killer 1971 and School’ Out 1972 – with newly remastered sound, rare recordings, and previously unreleased live performances. Both Deluxe Editions will be released on June 9 as 2CD sets and 3LP versions on 180gram vinyl.
Heavyweight vinyl is pressed on thicker, denser material—typically weighing 180 grams or more. This added weight offers improved durability, reduced warping, and is often believed to provide better sound quality due to more stable playback. Many audiophile releases, reissues, and deluxe editions are pressed on heavyweight vinyl, making it a popular choice among collectors and music enthusiasts who value both performance and longevity. While it doesn’t automatically guarantee superior audio, its solid, premium feel and association with high-quality production standards have made it a trusted format for serious vinyl fans.
Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
