Description

Limited Gold LPnbspOrange Sunshine is the debut album from crosscontinental trio Susso Seki Singh, consisting of Jally Kebba Susso on Kora, Andrea Seki on Harp, and Kiranpal Singh on Santoor.nbspThe album was the brainchild of Youth, the everexploring producer, and founder of new label, Painted Word. He wanted to create an album that brought together these talented artists into a hypnotic and entrancing journey of traditional stringed instruments from across the globe, merging them all together with his subtle electronic elements. The album is a meditative exploration of these three instruments, constantly evolving melodies build upon arpeggiated sequences that pull the listener into hidden depths between the layers of moving sound.nbspThe impeccable Kora parts come from Susso, who comes from a background of 74 generations of musical heritage, and was exposed to incredible musicianship from a very early age under the guidance of his father the late Bully Suso, a very wellrespected kora player.nbspSekirsquos Celtic Harp explores paths that combine the contemporary bard traditions with different ethnic genres, using ancient techniques like Clairseach Gaelic harp. Whilst Singh plays the Santoor, an ancient 100 stringed Indian Classical instrument. He spent ten years studying the santoor in the gurushishya tradition in Mumbai, under the master instrumentalist of the Santoor, Shivkumar Sharma. Susso Seki Singh LP is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £18.99

LP

An LP, or long-playing vinyl record, is a classic format cherished by music enthusiasts for its warm, authentic sound. Typically featuring up to 45 minutes of music split between two sides, LPs are the perfect way to enjoy full albums as the artist intended. Their larger format also allows for striking album artwork, making them as much a visual delight as an auditory one.

LPs have become symbols of a deeper connection to music, offering a tactile and immersive experience. From the ritual of placing the needle to the soft crackle as the music begins, playing an LP is a nostalgic journey that transcends digital convenience. Whether you’re collecting vintage classics or exploring modern releases, LPs remain an iconic choice for any music lover.
