Description

Sticker sheet within album packaging.Good Cop Bad Cop is the brainchild of Joe Carnall Jnr a longtime darling of the Sheffield music scene. Carnall rose to prominence as the frontman of 00s indie band Milburn who have enjoyed an incredible resurgence since their return six years ago. They are still the only artist to play their hometown O2 Academy on four consecutive nights, totting up an incredible 9,000 ticket sales. However, Carnall has always been one to look forward instead of back. In 2018 he began writing what would become Good Cop Bad Cops debut offering, which was recorded in Los Angeles, USA. Although 2024s followup was put together closer to home, the guitars were left in their cases for the most part, with Carnall and producer Gold Teeth Andy Nicholson opting to further push the synth and hiphop undertones. The result is something that somehow sounds like both then and now.Side OneMarble ZoneRunning Away With The CircusMr MisfitDoes It Get Any EasierCried For A Friend This MorningSide TwoM.E.X.I.C.O. Cassette

A cassette tape is a nostalgic format that continues to hold a special place in music culture. Known for its warm, analogue sound and compact design, cassettes offer a unique listening experience that many audiophiles cherish. Their physical nature and simple playback process—complete with the iconic “tape hiss”—add a layer of authenticity that digital formats can’t replicate.

Cassette tapes also evoke a sense of nostalgia, bringing back memories of mixtapes, car rides, and the early days of music discovery. Collecting cassettes allows music enthusiasts to connect with the past while embracing the charm of a format that was once central to the music industry. Whether you’re seeking vintage classics or exploring modern releases on tape, cassettes remain a beloved part of music history.
