Description

After debuting on Steve Lamacqs BBC Radio 6 Music show, this new AAside finds Pixies creating a macabre and cinematic picture of American pop culture. Furious punk ditty Youre So Impatient is an explosive two minute, nine second Zombie attack at the mall, before Pixies twist the classic 1950s standard Que Sera, Sera into a dark folk tale, told anew through the lens of a scifi monster epic originally recorded as the soundtrack for the US TV Show From. This limited edition 7 single including both tracks will be released on July 19th.Speaking about Youre So Impatient, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Black Francis said Youre So Impatient is a slightly comedic suburban culture moment theres this guy, theres this gal, theres this tugoflove dynamic going on. But the backdrop is the mall. And while the mall is crass, its also a very zombie, rock n roll horror movie setting. Pixies Vinyl is available for home delivery from Vinyl Records London, only £12 +P&P
