For LP Fans Only Translucent Blue Heavyweight Vinyl. This Heavyweight Vinyl is in stock. For more check out all the official Elvis Presley merchandise & vinyl available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £30 +P&P After Elvis Presley was drafted into the army in 1958, it was not possible for him to do any new live film performances for two years. His manager and record company had to get creative and collected various singles from the period 1954 to 1956 and put out many of these songs on 12 for the first time. A great idea, as many of the 7 versions were hard to find outside the South of the United States. The result was an amazing overview, titled For LP Fans Only, of some of Elvis best moments of the 1950s with songs like Thats All Right and Youre A Heartbreaker. For LP Fans Only is available as a limited edition of 2500 individually numbered copies on translucent blue coloured vinyl.
Heavyweight vinyl is pressed on thicker, denser material—typically weighing 180 grams or more. This added weight offers improved durability, reduced warping, and is often believed to provide better sound quality due to more stable playback. Many audiophile releases, reissues, and deluxe editions are pressed on heavyweight vinyl, making it a popular choice among collectors and music enthusiasts who value both performance and longevity. While it doesn’t automatically guarantee superior audio, its solid, premium feel and association with high-quality production standards have made it a trusted format for serious vinyl fans.
Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
