Live At The Academy 1995 Triple Vinyl. This Triple Vinyl is in stock. For more check out all the official Goo Goo Dolls merchandise & vinyl available for home delivery with Vinyl Records London, only £72 +P&P In November 1995, just as their song ‘Name’ was becoming their first hit, Goo Goo Dolls played their biggest live show to date. It was at the prestigious Academy Theatre in New York City, as part CMJ’ Music Marathon – an important annual convention at the time. The entire concert was recorded by a mobile recording truck, including the acoustic soundcheck that was performed in front of an audience of competition winners and broadcast on Tom Calderone’ show on a local radio station. This release includes the soundcheck, full set and the encores the band played that night. 32 songs on either 3 LPs or 2CDs that capture this special night and the incredible energy and intensity of the band’ performance.
Vinyl records are a timeless format that continues to captivate music lovers with their warm, analogue sound. Unlike digital formats, vinyl offers a rich, textured listening experience that many argue feels more authentic and immersive. With their larger artwork and tangible presence, records bring a sense of nostalgia and artistry to any music collection.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector or new to the world of vinyl, records have a unique ability to connect listeners to music on a deeper level. Their physical grooves and the ritual of placing a needle on a spinning disc create a tactile and engaging experience. From classic albums to modern releases, vinyl remains a cherished way to enjoy music.
